The Sheep RNA Editing Database (SRED) is a platform containing information on multi-tissue RNA editing sites in sheep. The database is based on 236 strand-specific transcriptome samples from the PRJEB6169 project. Since the data is strand-specific, users should note that RNA editing types need to be interpreted accordingly—for example, TC (−) represents an A-to-G editing event.
SRED provides a reliable platform for researchers to explore, search, and download RNA editing information to support studies in functional genomics, transcriptome regulation, and comparative genomics. In the Downloads section, users can access files containing all identified RNA editing sites, as well as conserved RNA editing sites between sheep and humans or sheep and cattle for cross-species comparisons.
For more information on how to use SRED, please refer to the Help section on the page.
